NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The DLA AGM and annual social event will take place on 
Monday 18th February 2019 beginning at 6:00pm.

We are very pleased to announce that our guest speaker will be Leslie Thomas QC of Garden Court Chambers.  Leslie has a UK-wide reputation in civil liberties and human rights.  He has acted as counsel and advocate in dozens of high-profile Article 2 inquiries, such as the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, Independent Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse, Carl Sargeant inquiry, the legacy cases involving the Provisional IRA and the Anthony Grainger and Azelle Rodney inquiries.  You can read a recent article of his published by Counsel magazine entitled “What Can I Do?

It will help us very much in planning numbers of ballot papers and glasses of wine if you will let us know if you are able (or unable) to attend.  Please RSVP to info@discriminationlaw.org.ukNon-members are welcome to attend this event.  Wine, soft drinks and nibbles will be provided.

The conference room at Garden Court has a wheelchair ramp at the main entrance leading directly into the front reception area, a lift to all floors, and full disabled access to the seminar room/hub and smaller conference rooms.
