The Discrimination Law Association warmly invites you to join our Practitioner Group Meeting on Tuesday 7 September 2021 at 6pm via Zoom, where the topic will be Menopause Discrimination. The DLA will be responding to a call for evidence by Parliament’s Women and Equalities Committee, which has launched an inquiry into menopause discrimination and the discussion will inform our response.

The discussion will focus on the medical facts relating to menopause; typical workplace practices and trends; and the current challenges of bringing a claim under the Equality Act 2010.  We will also discuss whether there is a case for law reform in this area. There will be an opportunity for questions, contributions and discussion.

This meeting is free for DLA members.  Non-members are asked to make a donation (or join!).

The PGM will be conducted by video conference using zoom.

You can join the event from any internet browser using a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.  You are recommended to download the zoom app before the start but this is not essential.

Login details will be sent to everyone who has registered just before the start of the PGM (from about 5:45pm) - hopefully everyone will be connected by 6:00pm so that we can start promptly.
