How to JOIN

If you are joining the DLA for the first time

TO JOIN

Click here to go direct to our secure subscription site hosted by eventbrite (as if signing up for an event - please ignore the event date) where you can submit your details (which we need to be able to provide you with a comprehensive service) and arrange payment of the annual subscription.

Click on the orange "Get tickets" button to start the registration process and then when the next page comes up, click on the plus sign to select Quantity "1" against the membership category appropriate for you or your organisation (click here for a list) and then click on CHECKOUT at the bottom of the screen.

TO PAY

You will then be offered a number of payment options - there are three electonic options: credit or debit card, paypal or Google Pay - however, if you want to pay by some other means, click on "pay by cheque". This will enable you to register but pay later (by direct debit, cheque or bank transfer).

  • DIRECT DEBIT - (if you choose this, you will get a discounted rate over other payment methods) - for this you will need to complete a direct debit mandate and post the signed original to the DLA office, or
  • CHEQUE - send a cheque, payable to the Discrimination Law Association, to the DLA office, or
  • BANK TRANSFER - make a BACS payment to the DLA's bank account - for details please contact the DLA office

You will then be asked to fill in details (your name, name of firm or organisation, type of work activity, etc.). You can join either as an individual or an organisation (associate membership) - if you are joining as an organisation, we would ask you to give us the name of the person who will be our contact person.

Once you have made your payment method selection and filled in your details, click on PLACE ORDER after which you will receive a confirmation email. Please contact the DLA office if you need an invoice / formal receipt or have any queries.
